The MH CET Law 2024counselling process date will be announced soon after the MH CET Law 2024entrance examination. TheState Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will announce the counselling date soon.
If you want to participate in the MH CET Lawcounselling process, note that the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) Lawrank applies only to 49 Maharashtra law colleges.
- In how many rounds is MH CET Law 3 years counselling conducted? The MH CET Law counselling 2024will be conducted in two rounds.
- What to do before the counselling starts? Before starting the registration for the counselling rounds, you must verify their documents and pay the counselling participation fee, which is Rs. 3,000/- for the General/SBC/NT/VJ/DT category candidates and Rs. 1,000/- for the SC/ST/OBC category candidates.
- What to do after the MH CET Law 5 years counselling process? If you have passed the counselling round, you must download the provisional offer letter from the college's official website to which you have applied.
- How to know about the counselling schedule? You will be informed personally about the counselling schedule, which will contain the date, time, and venue of when the student has to submit their documents and pay their admission fees to complete the admission process.
MH CET Law 2024Counselling - Overview
There will be several processes included in the MH CET Law Counselling 2024: -

It is suggested to all the students that they should read and understands the counselling procedure to avoid confusion while attending the MH CET Law 2024Counselling process.
- All the participatingcolleges will conduct the counselling and seat allotment process individually. All the participating colleges will announce Seat Allotment for the round by opening and closing ranks on their official websites.
- Students whose names will feature in the merit list of the MH CET Law 2024will be issued offer letters to attend the MH CET Law Counselling 2024as a medium to seek admissions into 49 participating law colleges of Maharashtra.

MH CET Law 2024Counseling and Seat Allotment Process
The counselling and the seat allotment process will be conducted online by the Directorate of Higher Education Mumbai and Maharashtra state CET Cell.
The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, will conduct the institute-level counselling for 3 years LL.B. and 5 years LL.B. The institute-level merit list will be released, and candidates can register online before the deadline.
- Issue of merit numbers: Candidates shortlisted for counselling will be issued merit numbers.
- Choice filling: Candidates who have been issued merit numbers will be invited for choice filling and locking. As part of the choice-filling process, candidates must pick their choice of institutions before CAP Round I and CAP Round II start. All entries should be in the order of priority.
- Options entered before CAP Round I will be the basis for seat allotment in CAP Rounds 1 and 2.
- Note that the choice-filling option will be activated again before CAP Round III, which will be the basis for seat allotment in the round.
- MH CET Law seat allotment 2024: The allotment of seats will be made after each CAP Round considering yourmerit rank and choices.
- Document verification: Upon allotment of seats, the candidate has to accept the seat and pay the acceptance fee through log-in.
- Report at allotted college: Finally, you must report at the institute allotted to them on the designated day to complete the remaining admission formalities.

MH CET Law Counselling 2024– Documents Required
- The students allotted seats must submit their documents for the verification process.
- The document verification of the student will be conducted after the seat allotment round. Any violation of the rules may lead to disqualification of the candidature.
At the time of the seat allotment process, Students must carry original and multiple attested copies of the following documents mentioned below.
- The student must carry the certificate informing that the student has cleared the 10 + 2 level examination.
- The student should have a passing certificate of their 10 + 2 level examinations. It should be in the 10 + 2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central / State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or State Boards of Secondary Education.
- Document in support of reservation claim - Caste / Physical Disability certificate.
- MH CET Law 2024scorecard - issued at the time of result.
- Class 10 mark sheet/date of birth certificate.
- Class 12th Marksheet.
- MH CET Law registration slip.
- Passport Size Photograph.
- MH CET Law provisional offer letter.
- Character Certificate issued by the School.

MH CET Law 2024Counselling Procedure
- The Students who have cleared the MH CET Law 2024must register online and choose their preferred program and college.
- The seat allotment process will be done offline, based on the candidate's score/rank, category, availability of seats, and various other factors.
- After completing the seat allotment process, the candidates must report to the applied college for document verification and fee payment.
Step 1: Online Registration
- Visit the official website of the college you want to apply to.
- Login using MH CET Law 2024Application Number, Password, and Security Pin.
- After carefully reading all the instructions, Click on 'I Agree'.
- Fill in the required details in the MH CET Law Counseling Form.
- Click on Submit after selecting the declaration.
- After verifying all the provided details, click on the 'Confirm Registration' button.
Step 2: Fee Payment of Counselling Process
- After Online registration, the General/SBC/NT/VJ/DT category students must pay Rs. 3,000/- as the counselling process fee for the seat allotment round. And SC/ST/OBC category students have to pay Rs. 1,000/- as the counselling process fee for the seat allotment round.
Step 3: The release date of the Date sheet of the counselling process
After online registration and fee payment of the counselling process. The authorities will send you an offer letter with the counselling schedule, and the students have to follow the counselling schedule. The schedule will include details like
- Date of the MH CET Law 2024counselling process.
- Venue of the MH CET Law 2024counselling process.
- Time of the MH CET Law 2024counselling process.
Step 4: Online Choice Filling and Locking
- Choose your desired program and college and fill in your choices in the form given by the concerned authority.
- After filling in all the choices, candidates must lock and submit.
- Lock the choice before the last date.
Step 5: Allotment of Seats
The seat allotment process is conducted by the concerned authority based on the following aspects: -
- Student's Category (General, OBC - NCL, SC, ST, etc.).
- Availability of seats in the concerned College.
- Your Rank in the MH CET Law 2024rank list.
- Your priority order of choices for academic programs.
Step 6: Acceptance of Seats, Fee Payment, and Document Verification
- After allotment of the seats, pay the seat acceptance fee through net banking or E Challan.
- Bring all the documents because they will be verified at the reporting centre.
- After the fee payment and document verification process are completed, a provisional admission letter will be issued.
- Documents required are -
- Slip of registration
- MH CET Law 2024admit card
- Class 10th and Class 12th (attested by gazetted officer or self) original mark sheets
- The candidate should have a character or conduct certificate from the head of the last institute they attended. The certificate can not be more than 6 months older.

MH CET Law Seats Reservation
There are 16240 seats announced by the Maharashtra Government for the 3-year LLB course and 10860 seats announced by the Maharashtra Government for the 5-year LLB course.

- For admission to a reserved category seat in the admitting college, all candidates must present their caste certificate, caste validity certificate, and non-creamy layer certificate at the time of document verification.
- Candidates with a caste certificate from a state other than Maharashtra will be eligible for the Open Category.
- Previously, some of the castes under the SBC category were included in the other backward categories. As a result, such an SBC candidate will be considered eligible for reservation in the backward class in which they were previously listed.
- Suppose some reserved seats remain available after the merit list admission procedure. In that case, SBC candidates will be allowed admission on a first-come, first-served basis to take the seat on a priority basis, up to 2% of the total intake capacity.

- All the participatingcolleges will conduct the counselling and seat allotment process individually. All the participating colleges will announce Seat Allotment for the round by opening and closing ranks on their official websites.
- Students whose names will feature in the merit list of the MH CET Law 2024will be issued offer letters to attend the MH CET Law Counselling 2024as a medium to seek admissions into 49 participating law colleges of Maharashtra.

MH CET Law 2024Counseling and Seat Allotment Process
The counselling and the seat allotment process will be conducted online by the Directorate of Higher Education Mumbai and Maharashtra state CET Cell.
The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, will conduct the institute-level counselling for 3 years LL.B. and 5 years LL.B. The institute-level merit list will be released, and candidates can register online before the deadline.
- Issue of merit numbers: Candidates shortlisted for counselling will be issued merit numbers.
- Choice filling: Candidates who have been issued merit numbers will be invited for choice filling and locking. As part of the choice-filling process, candidates must pick their choice of institutions before CAP Round I and CAP Round II start. All entries should be in the order of priority.
- Options entered before CAP Round I will be the basis for seat allotment in CAP Rounds 1 and 2.
- Note that the choice-filling option will be activated again before CAP Round III, which will be the basis for seat allotment in the round.
- MH CET Law seat allotment 2024: The allotment of seats will be made after each CAP Round considering yourmerit rank and choices.
- Document verification: Upon allotment of seats, the candidate has to accept the seat and pay the acceptance fee through log-in.
- Report at allotted college: Finally, you must report at the institute allotted to them on the designated day to complete the remaining admission formalities.

MH CET Law Counselling 2024– Documents Required
- The students allotted seats must submit their documents for the verification process.
- The document verification of the student will be conducted after the seat allotment round. Any violation of the rules may lead to disqualification of the candidature.
At the time of the seat allotment process, Students must carry original and multiple attested copies of the following documents mentioned below.
- The student must carry the certificate informing that the student has cleared the 10 + 2 level examination.
- The student should have a passing certificate of their 10 + 2 level examinations. It should be in the 10 + 2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central / State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or State Boards of Secondary Education.
- Document in support of reservation claim - Caste / Physical Disability certificate.
- MH CET Law 2024scorecard - issued at the time of result.
- Class 10 mark sheet/date of birth certificate.
- Class 12th Marksheet.
- MH CET Law registration slip.
- Passport Size Photograph.
- MH CET Law provisional offer letter.
- Character Certificate issued by the School.

MH CET Law 2024Counselling Procedure
- The Students who have cleared the MH CET Law 2024must register online and choose their preferred program and college.
- The seat allotment process will be done offline, based on the candidate's score/rank, category, availability of seats, and various other factors.
- After completing the seat allotment process, the candidates must report to the applied college for document verification and fee payment.
Step 1: Online Registration
- Visit the official website of the college you want to apply to.
- Login using MH CET Law 2024Application Number, Password, and Security Pin.
- After carefully reading all the instructions, Click on 'I Agree'.
- Fill in the required details in the MH CET Law Counseling Form.
- Click on Submit after selecting the declaration.
- After verifying all the provided details, click on the 'Confirm Registration' button.
Step 2: Fee Payment of Counselling Process
- After Online registration, the General/SBC/NT/VJ/DT category students must pay Rs. 3,000/- as the counselling process fee for the seat allotment round. And SC/ST/OBC category students have to pay Rs. 1,000/- as the counselling process fee for the seat allotment round.
Step 3: The release date of the Date sheet of the counselling process
After online registration and fee payment of the counselling process. The authorities will send you an offer letter with the counselling schedule, and the students have to follow the counselling schedule. The schedule will include details like
- Date of the MH CET Law 2024counselling process.
- Venue of the MH CET Law 2024counselling process.
- Time of the MH CET Law 2024counselling process.
Step 4: Online Choice Filling and Locking
- Choose your desired program and college and fill in your choices in the form given by the concerned authority.
- After filling in all the choices, candidates must lock and submit.
- Lock the choice before the last date.
Step 5: Allotment of Seats
The seat allotment process is conducted by the concerned authority based on the following aspects: -
- Student's Category (General, OBC - NCL, SC, ST, etc.).
- Availability of seats in the concerned College.
- Your Rank in the MH CET Law 2024rank list.
- Your priority order of choices for academic programs.
Step 6: Acceptance of Seats, Fee Payment, and Document Verification
- After allotment of the seats, pay the seat acceptance fee through net banking or E Challan.
- Bring all the documents because they will be verified at the reporting centre.
- After the fee payment and document verification process are completed, a provisional admission letter will be issued.
- Documents required are -
- Slip of registration
- MH CET Law 2024admit card
- Class 10th and Class 12th (attested by gazetted officer or self) original mark sheets
- The candidate should have a character or conduct certificate from the head of the last institute they attended. The certificate can not be more than 6 months older.

MH CET Law Seats Reservation
There are 16240 seats announced by the Maharashtra Government for the 3-year LLB course and 10860 seats announced by the Maharashtra Government for the 5-year LLB course.

- For admission to a reserved category seat in the admitting college, all candidates must present their caste certificate, caste validity certificate, and non-creamy layer certificate at the time of document verification.
- Candidates with a caste certificate from a state other than Maharashtra will be eligible for the Open Category.
- Previously, some of the castes under the SBC category were included in the other backward categories. As a result, such an SBC candidate will be considered eligible for reservation in the backward class in which they were previously listed.
- Suppose some reserved seats remain available after the merit list admission procedure. In that case, SBC candidates will be allowed admission on a first-come, first-served basis to take the seat on a priority basis, up to 2% of the total intake capacity.
